Phone Test is a guided inspection aid. Please read these conditions before using the tests.
What the service provides
Phone Test helps you inspect selected phone functions through a compatible browser. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with a phone manufacturer. It is not a repair service or a certified hardware diagnostic system.
Understanding results
Results depend on your device, operating system, browser, permissions, settings and your observations. Mark Working only when the test behaved as expected. An unsupported, skipped or incomplete test does not establish that hardware is faulty.
Refresh-rate measurements estimate browser frame timing, rather than certifying the display's hardware refresh rate. Multitouch counts show contacts observed during your test, rather than the maximum supported by your device.
A report is a record of your inspection, not a guarantee of condition, suitability or value. Use manufacturer diagnostics or a qualified repair assessment when further verification is needed.
Safe and permitted use
Test only devices you own or are authorised to inspect. Start audio tests at low volume, handle your phone securely, and stop if a test causes discomfort or unexpected behaviour. Avoid looking directly into a flashlight and avoid shining it at others.
Grant only permissions you are comfortable granting. Do not use the service to access another person's device, account or data without permission, disrupt the site, or misrepresent a report as a hardware certification.
Your data and reports
You decide which tests to run, what outcomes to record and whether to save or share a report. Read the Privacy Policy for information about browser storage, device permissions and contact messages.
Availability and updates
Features may change, and some browser or device combinations may not support particular tests. Access may be interrupted. These terms do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular diagnostic outcome, and do not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
